What is a conveyancer

A conveyancer is a practicing attorney who specialise in the field of conveyancing which is related to the settlement and title transfer process by ensuring that their client is meeting all legal obligations and that their client’s rights are protected during this transaction.  A practicing attorney needs to write a special exam to enter this field. Only attorneys can be conveyancers in South Africa.
